DUMONT EXPANDS ITS ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND PRESENTS AT SASKROCKS CONFERENCE ON MAY 9,
2009
DUMONT NICKEL INC.
(DNI:TSX-Ven, DG7:FSE) is pleased to announce that it has appointed two additional members to its Advisory Committee which was established in July, 2008, to assist DUMONT with development of its polymetallic black shale Properties. Mr.Mani M.Verma and Mr.James Letourneau were recently appointed to the Committee, both of whom bring considerable practical professional industry experience from the mining and oil&gas sectors. Mr.Verma and Mr.Letourneau join Mr.Gordon Bogden and Mr.Bryan Wilson on DUMONT’s advisory committee.
Mr.Verma, PEng, is a mining engineer with over 25 years of varied experience in the mining industry, and was one of the founders and a director of Micon International Limited, a Toronto based mining consulting group. His consulting career includes senior positions with companies such as Dames & Moore and Robertson & Associates, among others. He is an engineering graduate from Sheffield University, UK, and holds a mineral economics Masters degree from McGill University, Canada. Prior to his consulting career, Mr.Verma worked as an engineer/operator in open pit and underground mining operations, including Syncrude during the early development of the Alberta oil sands. Mr.Verma is currently an independent consulting mining engineer involved in due diligence and evaluation/valuation of mineral properties around the world, in addition to mergers and acquisitions. He has previously served as Executive Vice President and a Director of AMT International Mining Corporation (TSE) and as President and Chief Operating Officer of AMT (USA) Limited, with operations in Arizona. Mr.Verma brings to DUMONT considerable hands-on mining engineering experience from a variety of operations, including the Alberta oil sands, and will be a valuable resource to assist advancing DUMONT’s Alberta polymetallic black shale properties.
Mr.Letourneau, PGeo is founder and editor of the Big Picture Speculator, and a professional registered geologist living in Calgary, Alberta, with fifteen years’ experience from the oil & gas sector. His unique perspective as a professional geologist, dynamic speaker, communicator and investor, is sought after as a valuable source of current information on ongoing developments from the oil & gas sector. Mr.Letourneau is frequently interviewed in the national media, including the CBC, CNBC, Resource World Magazine, Business in Calgary Magazine, The Korelin Economics Report, SeekingAlpha.com, HoweStreet.com and Minyanville.com. He has nurtured a powerful social media web which integrates the power of web-based platforms, a captive email network, and his blog. Mr.Letourneau has served as an expert witness to Canada’s National Energy Board, and has received several professional awards including the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists Link and Tracks Awards. He brings to DUMONT invaluable industrial insight into emerging cross-over technologies from the oil&gas and oil-shale sectors to apply to development of DUMONT’s Alberta polymetallic black shale properties.

SASKROCKS INVESTMENT CONFERENCE, MAY 9, 2009
DUMONT is also pleased to announce that it will be making a technical presentation of its Alberta polymetallic shale projects at the 2009 SaskROCKS Investment Conference, on May 9, 2009, at the Sheraton Cavalier Conference Hotel, Saskatoon. DUMONT’s senior management will be available for discussions.
